Latest planning for our return to recreational sailing during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Thank you for your responses to the survey and for your comments and observations.
Subject to Bristol Water approval we are aiming for recreational sailing to start by Wednesday 27-May-20.
In order to avoid congestion on site, there will be strictly limited, pre-booked time slots.
Detailed instructions will be sent in good time.
In the meantime, make sure you have your 2020-21 membership card and remember where you have put your boat sticker/s.
Also please remember that if you visit the site to check your boat, the clubhouse is still closed and there are no toilet facilities.
During the past month Guzz has been grass cutting and volunteers have been strimming, but you may need to bring a means of tidying your individual boat space.
You will be touching the padlock and gate that others will have touched before you, therefore you must protect yourself and others – we advise that you bring hand sanitiser and/or gloves.
The outer gate must remain locked at all times.
We are getting there, thanks for your patience and look out for the next mail very soon.
