Safety Boat Training

One Day Lake Specific Rescue Helm Safety Day.

The Club is running a number of courses, it is intended that over the next three years all rescue boat helms will attend the course unless they hold the RYA Safety Boat Certificate.

It is not a RYA recognised course but is run by RYA Instructors and using RYA methods of recovery of people and boats.

The only prerequisite is that you should hold a PB2 certificate and be a Club member.

It is FREE and you will be issued with a certificate of attendance.

The next course is on Saturday 23rd June 2018 and there are still a few places.

It is a practical course and we aim to spend 80% of the time on the water. The feedback we have had on our first two courses has been very positive.
